Subconscious mind can do wonders, if you learn to access and control it. Alpha state of mind is the doorway to access your subconscious mind. Learning to reach alpha state of mind will help to conquer oneself and control it.

Steps for Alpha State

Step 1: Lie down comfortably and stare at a point. Close your eyes.


Step 2: Breathe deeply and slowly. Visualize that with every breath you take in, you take in positive energy and every breath you breathe out, you breathe out the unwanted negative energy from your body.

Relaxation is very simple. You should let it go. Let go of all the worries, problems. Let your body be limp and muscles are relaxed.


Step 3: Now imagine a white angel light entering your body through your legs. As the light enters your body, your toes become much heavier and relaxed. Watch the light go to the other toe and getting it relaxed.


Step 4: Now this light moves up to your ankles, calf muscles and thighs. Your legs are completely relaxed now.


Step 5: This light moves to hips and relaxes the muscles. Let go of the stiffness and tension present in the muscles. Enjoy the relaxed and heavy feeling of the muscles.


Step 6: The light moves up to the torso and creeps up your back. Your back muscles are completely relaxed. Now the light moves up to shoulders and relaxes the muscles. Relax your muscles in the stomach and chest. Your body is completely relaxed. It feels wonderful, just let it go.


Step 7:  The light moves to the arms and fingers. Fingers become relaxed and limp. Your arms are relaxed as ever.


Step 8: Now the light enters your neck muscles and relaxes the muscles there. It then enters your head and relaxes your tongue, jaws. Enjoy the wonderful feeling of relaxation.


Step 9: Finally light enters your brain and relaxes the muscles. At last, feel your scalp relax.


Step 10: You are completely relaxed now. Every muscle, every cell in your body is completely relaxed. Enjoy this wonderful feeling and heaviness of the muscles.

Every breathe you are getting more and more relaxed. You are feeling better and happy.


Step 11: You are now in the natural state of ALPHA. Your subconscious mind is open to healthy and positive suggestions.


Step 12: You can now give your suggestions to your subconscious, which is readily accepted by your subconscious mind.


Step 13: After giving suggestions, return to full wakefulness. Start counting from 1 to 3. By the count of three, you will be awake with your eyes open.


Tips:

1. You can program your subconscious mind, such that noise and other distractions only tend you to move into deeper Alpha state.

2. Your subconscious mind will be active throughout the procedure. In case of any emergencies, your subconscious mind immediately recognizes it and returns you to full alert state.

3. You can also program your subconscious mind to return to the alpha state, by touching the fore finger and thumb. During the alpha stage, suggest your subconscious mind that you will be in ALPHA state as soon as you touch the forefinger and thumb. In normal context it means nothing, but when you want to reach alpha and touch your forefinger and thumb, you will be immediately taken to alpha.
